In this post, I want to show you how you can produce more content, effortlessly, exactly as you are - when you align your content creation strategy with your Human Design Strategy.
Let’s start at the beginning…
Your Human Design Type / Strategy.
In Human Design, your Type represents your energetic blueprint - how you're naturally wired to move through the world.
Your ‘Operating System’.
Your Strategy is how you interact with people and opportunities, so you succeed in a way that feels aligned and easeful – lucky.
Essentially, it’s how you are at your best, most on-fire self, with it taking the least amount of your energy.
When you follow your Strategy, you work with your natural energy instead of against it.
This is your path of least resistance that leads to more flow, success and satisfaction in your daily life and in your work/business.
How to Find Your Human Design Type and Strategy
If you are not yet familiar with your Human Design chart, follow these steps to find your Type and Strategy now:
Visit the Jovian Archive website. (This is the official site for Human Design.)
Enter your birth details into the form and submit. (No opt-in required.)
On the next page, skip past the image with all the numbers and look for the text list. (On mobile, scroll down. On desktop, scroll across.)
The first heading is your Type. Your Strategy will show below your Type.
I am a Generator.
My husband Bill is a Manifesting Generator.
There are five Human Design Types and Strategies:
Type: Generator
Strategy: Wait to respond.
As a Generator, your path of least resistance is to respond to external cues from life around you.
You thrive when you see, watch or hear something that lights you up, then your internal response energises you into action for what feels satisfying.
For instance
You read a Substack post that is a list of 10 things
Ping goes your mind with an 11th item you would add.
Yet, if you’d been asked to compile the 10 things from scratch, your mind would have been blank.
A client asks you a question
And ping, you realise you have a lot you want to say about that.
Yet, before they asked, it did not have occur to you to discuss this topic today. You may even have been stuck for what topic you could create content about today.
You’re listen to a podcast
The host says something and ping you get clarity on a challenge that has been puzzling you.
Those pings are your response being activated.
Incidentally, that ping is audible. If you are a Generator or Manifesting Generator, or live with one, keep an ear out for the sound of their genius arriving.
Type: Manifesting Generator
Strategy: Wait to respond.
Everything above for (pure) Generators applies to you too. Plus…
Manifesting Generators move fast and have a lot of energy for is aligned and can keep multiple balls in the air at once.
You guys are superpowered!
One thing that separates MG’s from us G’s is that after your response has activated, tell people about the actions you plan to take. Informing is a power source that will fuel you to get it done.
Type: Projector
Strategy: Wait for the invitation.
Projectors are the wise guides and leaders.
Your path of least resistance is when you are recognised as the guide and invited to share your wisdom.
I’ll come back to what an ‘invitation’ is in a moment.
Type: Manifestor
Strategy: Inform before initiating.
Manifestors, you are the initiators.
You are designed to invent new things and ways. Innovate.
Walk your aligned path first. Then lead us there.
Informing before acting will fuel you and increase buy-in and reduce resistance from the people around you.
Type: Reflector
Strategy: Wait a full lunar cycle (about 28 days) before making major decisions.
As a Reflector, you are highly sensitive to your environment and need time to experience all aspects of a decision before committing.
Waiting through a full moon cycle brings clarity and alignment.
Reflectors are the rarest Type. Only about 1% of the population are Reflectors.
~20% are Projectors.
~70% are Generators and Manifesting Generators.
Collectively, I refer to Generators, Manifesting Generators and Projectors as, “Responders”.
Why the Typical Content Creation Strategies Are Often Unsustainable for Responders!
Most online marketing experts are teaching initiate-based content creation strategies.
I’ve sat in rooms where the ‘Guru’ on stage stated that if we want to succeed online, we must:
Produce your own content BEFORE you consume!
Post 4-5x per day (E.g. Substack note)
Publish 1x piece of long-form content per day (e.g. Substack post)
Initiating!
Every day!
Through my time in the online business world (since 2010) I’ve watched many become burnt out from too much initiating.
Needing to take an extended break from showing up online because they just can’t do it anymore.
We don’t do that around here!
Because there is A MUCH EASIER way!
Why Responders Struggle With Daily Content Creation
When Responders commit to a new daily content creation habit, the pattern predictably looks something like this:
Days 1-10:
You’re buzzing with ideas and have so much you want to say.
Squeee. Bring it on, baby!
Days 11-20:
You know you need to create something today but ideas are not flowing for what you could talk about.
This daily content malarkey is starting to feel like a bit of a slog. It’s weighing on your mind and draining your energy.
Day 21+:
You’ve been so busy lately and so tired that you just haven’t had the time or energy to create every day.
You missed a day here and there and nobody noticed.
Your new habit has fallen by the wayside.
Alternatively, you may have doubled down, determined to see this thing through and now you are knackered and need to take a break for a bit.
Relatable?
Ever give yourself a hard time when ‘yet again’ you couldn’t sustain the new daily content creation strategy?
Well guess what?
It was NOT your fault!
You were pushing against the flow of your natural energy source.

The Human Design-Aligned Content Marketing Strategy for Responders Who Want to Boost Their Results With Ease!
Responders MUST respond BEFORE you try to create content.
When you respond first, your ideas and inspiration flow to you and your content pretty much writes itself.
This post was inspired by Matt Giaro’s post in which he said:
“As an example, on the first of this month, I committed to writing and posting a daily long-form article.
On day 9, I felt the dip.”
I commented and said I knew why and asked if he would like me to explain. He did.
So this post was born.
Reading his post activated my response - inspired what I wanted to say.
And because my response had inspired what I wanted to say, it fuelled me to create this post - using way less energy than if I’d tried doing it from scratch.

Create Content, Consistently and Effortlessly
To attract new subscribers, leads and sales online, publishing authority content regularly is key.
That might mean daily for you, it might not.
But whichever frequency you choose, initiating is NOT sustainable, unless you are a Manifestor.
Human Design-aligned content creation should NEVER be exhausting.
It should feel flowy.
The way to increase your output without using more spoons is to follow your Strategy – your path of least resistance.
When you align your content creation strategy with your Human Design Strategy, you’ll find you are able to produce more and it will feel less of a chore.
Your alignment produces magnetic content your audience will feel inexplicably drawn to and the resulting increase to your reach, impact and conversions will feel ease-ier.
Your Path of Least Resistance to Magnetic Content
Generators and Manifesting Generators
Find the places and people you want to be around.
Interact. Comment on their posts and notes.
Build a genuine connection with them, organically, over time.
Use your responses to the people whose content you read to inspire your posts.
Or reuse your responses for your Notes.
Projectors
You don’t need to lurk in other people’s spaces waiting for an invitation.
Your path of least resistance to consistent content strategy is the same as for Generators and Manifesting Generators. Follow your responses.
Make sure you’re showing up in places you genuinely enjoy, doing things that feel good.
That’s how the right invitations find you, without you having to push or chase.
You will be invited when you are recognised as an authority or guide inside that space.
Spaces such as:
Your own followers and subscribers.
In other people’s communities when the leader endorses you.
In conversations with people you meet – in communities, in person and in DMs.
I’m not a Projector but Matt’s reply to me was an example of a Projector invite.
I read his posts because I enjoy them and I like him.
I responded to his post.
He invited me to share my insights.
Flow doesn’t come from strategy. It comes from alignment.
You cannot unlock flow with strategy.
Manifestors
As an initiator, you don’t need other people’s content or permission to activate your own.
Simply follow your inner nudges - those ideas and thoughts that drop into your mind seemingly out of nowhere.
When one lands, act on it.
Write what you feel moved to say.
When you’re clear and informing, impactful content flows fast.
Reflectors
As a Reflector, where you spend your time matters.
For you to create client attraction content, consistently and effortlessly, you MUST be observing the spaces, people, and patterns to reflect what your people want to know.
You should never rush content because you have not posted for a while. Nor should you ever aim to post daily.
Your clarity builds over time, so give yourself space to craft content that sees deeply and speaks impactfully.
Let yourself feel into your aligned timing and frequency.
How to Engineer Yourself Into Response Mode to Activate Your Content Ideas and Inspiration and Improve Your Content Consistency…
Follow and subscribe to the right people
I’m a Chihuahua mum and I love reading about and watching videos of Chihuahuas and their funny little ways.
But as cute as they are, I won’t get much content inspiration from them.
So it is important you consume what will activate ideas for ideal client attraction content too.
Hang out in their communities
Communities in Substack are:
The comments section of a writer’s posts
Chat channels and DMs
Replies under their notes
Outside of Substack, we’re talking about post comments, groups, DMs, networking events (if you’re into that scene) email threads - anywhere that people type or talk to each other.
Actively take in the world around you.
Whether you are reading on Substack, watching TV, listening to a podcast, pay attention.
Without you taking an active interest in what you are consuming and noticing what is around you, there will be no content.
When your response hits, USE IT!
In Substack, you can engineer yourself into response more frequently by reading the right NOTES:
Find people you align with whose notes you want to see in your feed
Find the people you vibe with who might be your ideal client
Find the people you vibe with who send newsletters to your ideal clients
Follow them to see their notes!
If you read a Note, like it.
If you get value from the Note, comment - engage effectively to encourage conversation.
You can engineer yourself into response more frequently by reading the right POSTS::
Find people you align with whose posts you want to read in your inbox
Find newsletters with a decent subscriber base that complement your topic and reach your ideal clients that you want to read in your inbox
Subscribe to them and read their content!
If you read a post, comment on it - engage effectively to encourage conversation.
If you get value from a post, consider restacking it.
Repeatedly!
Engage and nurture your network and opportunities, invites and newsletter growth will happen, organically.
Your Aligned Tone of Voice.
And finally, the way you communicate your message will magnetise or repel your audience.
Generators and Manifesting Generators
Whether you are in your own space or someone else’s, when you use your sacral response to inspire your content, lead from the front and state your position with authority, your energy attracts.
Your audience will receive your advice positively.
You are inspiring and motivating.
Projectors
When you are in your own spaces or in someone else’s by invitation, your energy attracts if you lead from the front and state your position with authority.
When you lead from the front publicly, uninvited, your energy repels and your message will not be valued.
My coaches in a Projector. I met him when he was the lead coach in my client’s Mastermind.
He regularly posted authority content in the Mastermind Facebook group, from a leadership perspective.
Amongst members, his wise guidance was sought after, respected and acted on. They loved it!
However, when he copied one of his posts for public content, he received a ton of pushback. His wise guidance was not valued. It repelled.
In your public content, act as their guide. Walk alongside.
Position your message as being based on your knowledge, client results or your lived experiences.
“We did this and it worked like this.”
Rather than “Do it this way and you will get this outcome.”
Manifestors
You’re an initiator. You lead from the front with your guided message and actions.
Your magnetism is highest when you inform before you act.
And like you’re the Pied Piper, your people all jump into line behind you and follow you to wherever you lead us.
Reflectors
Your role is to reflect back what is around you.
So, not leading from front, not walking alongside, but standing in front and seeing what others can’t.
Your magnetic message is observational. You make sense of the bigger picture.
Share what you’re noticing and what it might mean. When you speak from that place, your wisdom lands with impact.
There you have it. Your Human Design Strategy-aligned consistent content creation strategy. Your path of least resistance to more visibility, greater impact and a sustainable client attraction, online income generation model.
